Information for Families

We recognize that the visit experience is an important part of choosing the right college for you. The Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University is excited to welcome you to Schneider Hall, where you’ll find out exactly what it’s like to be a Business Bronco. You will be guided by current business students, have all your questions answered and experience why so many outstanding students call WMU Haworth home.

Visits are held in Schneider Hall Monday through Friday, from September through April. The experience includes attendance in an actual course you will experience in your first year as a business student, and one-on-one meetings with faculty members, Zhang Career Center staff, an academic advisor and more!

Why the Haworth College of Business?

Your student will have the best opportunities for success at WMU Haworth. Business graduates are working in their fields in jobs they like. Employers keep coming back to hire our graduates because our faculty and staff work with your student to gain all the skills, knowledge and professionalism they need to succeed. With 350+ experiences that students can select from in their undergraduate career, your student will be ready for their future!

At the Haworth College of Business, students craft their careers with experiences that take them outside the classroom and their comfort zones, leading to increased confidence and job opportunities. Hear from students—in their own words—about how WMU Haworth has supported them.

Student resources

WMU sees your student holistically, and that means they will have resources that nurture career and intellectual pursuits, social life, and physical and mental health. The personal attention that students get is what really sets WMU Haworth apart. Your student will have the benefits and connections of a larger university but with a personalized approach. We will know your student, and that is the most powerful tool we have to help them succeed.
