Daniel J. May is a forward-thinking business leader with a diverse background spanning global pricing strategy, entrepreneurship and community impact. He currently serves as the pricing manager at Epredia where he drove over $6 million in growth through strategic pricing frameworks, Salesforce-SAP integration, and audit and compliance systems.
He is also the founder of Dabney & Co., an award-winning cocktail bar and lounge in Kalamazoo that celebrates Southern contemporary cuisine, craft cocktail culture and Black musical traditions. The venue has become a cultural hub, hosting signature events such as LIVE at Dabney, Blues Fest, and Dabney After Dark, while welcoming renowned guests like Jemele Hill, award-winning journalist and former ESPN anchor, Ilyasah Shabazz, author, educator, civil rights advocate, and the daughter of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz, and Carla Hall, celebrity chef and Food Network personality. Dabney & Co. has been featured by NPR for its culinary and cultural influence.
May is committed to mentoring young professionals and emerging entrepreneurs, speaking at events such as the Black Business Expo and supporting high school students exploring careers in business. His work reflects a deep commitment to using business as a platform for cultural celebration, economic empowerment and meaningful community engagement.
He holds a B.B.A. from WMU Haworth and an MBA in Data Analytics and Strategic Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
