Department of Business Information Systems Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award

David Polidori joined Rocket Mortgage in 2005, eventually becoming senior vice president of engineering. Polidori likes to claim he went from, “college to rocket,” as Rocket Mortgage is the first and only place he has worked since graduating from Western Michigan University.

In his time at Rocket Mortgage, Polidori has held nine different roles, varying from help desk support to team leader focused on infrastructure and software engineering. He oversaw teams in implementing Workday, Office 365, Salesforce and many others within the organization. He has also led development and capacity initiatives, including the launch of the Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge and several Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl commercials.

Polidori is proud to be part of a team that is transforming the retail mortgage market because he believes that technology is the way to make these events in people’s lives easier, simpler and better understood.
