Starting with test results on Aug. 5, 2021, and moving forward, new cases will include individuals who previously tested positive and then test positive again 90 days (or more) later. This change is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's threshold defining a probable re-infection. Prior to this change, any individual who had previously tested positive was not counted as a "new case."
Statistics provided in WMU’s COVID-19 Dashboard reflect only testing performed or initiated by Sindecuse Health Center. The dashboard is updated twice weekly:
- Tuesday updates show data through the previous Friday.
- Friday updates show data through the previous Wednesday.
