Physician Assistant program rallies post-hurricane support for Bahamas

Students and Faculty from Western Michigan University's physician assistant program participated in a community service project by gathering personal hygiene products, clothing and non-perishable food items for people in need. In this case, gathered items will be donated to help individuals suffering in the Bahamas in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.

The donated items will be sent to the islands with Dr. Sherry O’Donnell, who is participating in a medical mission for the people there. Dr. O’Donnell recently received the WMU Physician Preceptor of the Year award and was the keynote speaker at the WMU PA Class of 2019 graduation ceremony, held in August.
