Dr. Yvette Hyter offers presentation at inaugural event

This spring, the college will introduce a new lecture to recognize the recipient of the previous year's Scholarship Excellence Award. Dr. Yvette Hyter received the 2019 award at the college’s all-hands meeting last spring. At 10 a.m. on January 24, Dr. Hyter will offer a presentation on Culturally/Linguistically Responsive and Globally Sustainable Practices before the college.

Dr. Hyter will highlight important issues pertaining to culturally and linguistically responsive and globally sustainable practices in health sciences; the importance of incorporating such practices into professional ethics, policies and standards; and the essential nature of interprofessional perspectives for transforming professional practices. 

Her presentation will be followed by brief responses CHHS faculty and there will be time for questions and answers afterward.
