CHHS Comes Together for NAMIWalks
Members of Western Michigan University’s College of Health and Human Services came together Sunday morning at Kalamazoo Valley Community College to participate in NAMIWalks, supporting mental health awareness and the work of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Although the CHHS team was small, its impact was anything but. The team led all participating teams in donations, with Claire, president of a newly formed CHHS registered student organization, earning the distinction of top fundraiser among all teams.
During the event, Claire also shared a few words about the new campus group and its commitment to building community around mental health.
NAMIWalks brings people together to raise awareness, strengthen community connections and support NAMI’s mental health programs and services.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in making the CHHS team a strong presence at this year’s walk!
