'Writing Winning Grant Proposals' Grant Writing Workshop

OVPR will host "Writing Winning Grant Proposals" from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the Bernhard Center Ballroom. This all-day grant writers workshop is facilitated by Lauren Broyles, Ph.D. from Grant Writers' Seminars and Workshops.

Broyles earned her degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburg and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Addiction Health Services Research with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, at the VA's Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP). She works as a Research Health Scientist at CHERP. Dr. Broyles has been awarded competitive extramural funding from the NIH, the Veterans Health Administration and various non-federal foundation sources.

Deans may nominate faculty (up to 12) within their college, using the button below to access the survey. The deadline for deans to submit their nominations has now closed. 

Confirmation emails of selected participants will be sent out by Feb. 28, 2019.
