Interdisciplinary work pushes fields forward and accelerates scientific discovery and creative accomplishments. Important ideas often transcend the scope of a single discipline or program and undertake challenges in innovative ways. Partner with the Office of Research and Innovation to make connections across campus.

Network

ORI supports interdisciplinary research. The Research Development Administrator (RDA) facilitates Innovation Networking Sessions to foster collaboration. The RDA also helps coordinate large, interconnected proposals. In Spring 2021, the inaugural Interdisciplinary Team Excellence Enhancement Grant was launched to spur more collaboration.
