STEAM Project on March 30 and April 5
On March 30 the STEAM Project, which is comprised of teams of WMU undergraduates, will take place at the Saniwax Gallery in the Park Trades Center, Suite 209, from 3 to 5 p.m. The students come from the Department of Chemistry, the Frostic School of Art, and the School of Music. This interdisciplinary, cross-campus collaborative event showcases the work of teams (each with one chemist, a visual artist, and a music composer) who collected samples with a Kalamazoo connection, analyzed it in the lab, then interpreted the data as visual and sonic artworks. The works will also be part of Art Hop on April 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the same location.
