Accreditation
The programs offered by the School of Social Work at Western Michigan University are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, the national accrediting body for social work education across the country. In conformance with the Council on Social Work Education educational policy and accreditation standards, the School of Social Work does not grant social work course credit or field hours for life experience or previous work experience.
Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes
The School of Social Work works with the Council on Social Work Education to assess student learning outcomes for our graduate and undergraduate programs.
