Assessment of Student Learning

The School of Social Work has implemented a continuous assessment plan to comply with the latest Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards set by the Board of Accreditation, Council on Social Work Education, the accrediting body for social work programs.

The findings from these assessments have been used to enhance both the explicit and implicit curriculum, as well as to maintain the high quality of social work education for students and the community. These assessment activities also align with the expectations of the University’s regional accrediting body, the Commission on Colleges of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
