WMU Haworth receives record $17 million gift

WMU Haworth College of Business announced a $17 million gift from The Stan Lucas Trust, the largest in the college's history. The gift will fund Experience-Driven Learning through innovation-focused programming in Silicon Valley, entrepreneurship programs and resources for student-led startups, curriculum development in free markets and capitalism, financial literacy education and enhanced career readiness opportunities. Dan Grady, B.B.A.'83, co-trustee of The Stan Lucas Trust, advocated for WMU Haworth after connecting with TechNext students and alumni. Though Lucas had no ties to WMU, Grady's connection to students led to this transformative gift.
