Career outcomes for business graduates once again outstanding

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The latest Career Outcomes Report has been issued by Western Michigan University’s Office of Career Services, and the Haworth College of Business has continued its tradition of strong outcomes when it comes to graduates working or continuing their education quickly after earning their degrees, job satisfaction, salaries, experience-driven learning and engagement with faculty members.

More than 2,500 students pursue an undergraduate degree at WMU Haworth. Among highlights from the 2023-24 report:

95% of WMU Haworth graduates are working or continuing their education quickly after earning their bachelor's degree.
98% of WMU Haworth bachelor's graduates had instructors who made them excited about learning.
95% of WMU Haworth students participated in experience-driven learning while earning their bachelor's degree.
$60,000 to $70,000 is the median starting salary for WMU Haworth bachelor's graduates working full time.

Approximately 250 students earn graduate degrees in business. Among highlights from the 2023-24 report:

98% of WMU Haworth graduate students felt their instructors cared about them as a person.
94% of WMU Haworth graduate students are working or continuing their education quickly after earning their degree.
98% of WMU Haworth graduate students working full time have a job related to their degree.

Standing out are the Master of Science in Accountancy degree, with multiple success indicators at 100%, and the experiences of graduate students in cybersecurity, also with several metrics at 100%.
