Fall 2025 Custer Speaker Series

The College of Engineering and Applied Sciences is pleased to announce our fall 2025 Custer Speaker Series! Open to the public, this speaker series is designed for students and community members to hear from professionals on topics that broaden attendees’ understanding of the world and add depth to experiences.  

On Thursday, Oct. 9, Senior Staff Plasma Physicist at Lam Research Corporation, Dr. Benjamin Lee, will be giving a talk titled “Changes in Plasma Deposition Systems for Semiconductor Manufacturing” at 1:30 p.m. in the Parkview Room (D-132) at Floyd Hall.

On Friday, Oct. 24, Dr. Sajal K. Das, who is Daniel St. Clair Endowed Chair in Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology, will be giving a talk titled “From Smart Sensing to Smart Living: The Era of IoT, AI/ML and Data Science” at 11 a.m. in the Parkview Room (D-132) at Floyd Hall.
