EVENT INFORMATION:

Hosted by Western Michigan University College of Health and Human Services, on site at the Whitelake Community Library in Whitehall Michigan. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m.

SESSION DESCRIPTION

This training will provide an opportunity for Social work/Substance abuse counselors to learn the signs and symptoms of opioid overdose, as well as strategies to prevent it. This training will focus on using the CARE Model for medication to prevent opioid overdose.
