Rider Colloquium

Posted by Joel Krauss for College of Health and Human Services

Barbara Rider started this colloquium in 2004 to bring scholars, clinicians, educators and students together to work toward evidence-based practice and to grow as professionals. The annual, daylong event features lectures and sessions with leading OT educators and practitioners.

The keynote presentation will be from Dr. Amy Lynch, who will discuss Empathy Across the Lifespan: Considerations for Becoming a Trauma Informed Occupational Therapy Practitioner.

The plenery presentation will be from Dr. James Henry, and will focus on Collective Trauma and Grief:  Reframing Resiliency Following a School Shooting.

For more information about all of our speakers, and for the complete agenda for the day, visit the Rider Colloquium website.
