Entrepreneurship Forum featuring Steve Jbara, Green Door Distilling

Steve Jbara, co-owner and CEO of Green Door Distilling, is a driven, innovative entrepreneur whose business interests lie in sports, advertising, finance and technology.

Jbara is the founder and president of the Grand Rapids Gold G League basketball team, CEO of Detroit-based ad agency Atomic Honey and Chief Strategy Officer of WaitTime. Additionally, he is the Chief Strategy Officer for Air Company, a CO2 technology firm based in Brooklyn, New York.

Green Door Distilling was founded in 2014 by two WMU grads and was the first distillery to open in Kalamazoo since 1858. Since Jbara increased his investment and became CEO, the company has announced a partnership with NBA legend Ben Wallace, refreshed its tasting room and continues to acquire and hold multiple prestigious awards for its spirits.
