Faculty save students money with open source books

The real benefactors of the program are WMU students, who can save hundreds of dollars on textbooks and materials in a given course.
For instance, in January, faculty from the School of Social Work and the School of Interdisciplinary Health Programs received three $1000 grants from University Libraries. Based on the cost of traditional textbooks, those three grants translate to an estimated $165,885 in savings for 1075 CHHS students.
