Kelly Carey is a speech-language pathologist, a singing voice rehabilitation specialist, and a veteran voice technique instructor of more than 10 years. Kelly received her Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire after deciding that she wanted to be able to approach the voice in both artistic and clinical ways. In addition, she remains a working singer-actresswhoseprofessional career includes extensive credits in musical theater, guest concert vocalist, and headlining her own showson Norwegian and Celebrity cruises. Favorite roles include: “Diana” (Next to Normal) “The Witch” (Into the Woods) “Paulette” (Legally Blonde the Musical). Kelly also serves as the resident Voice Consultant for musical productions at Mason Street Warehouse (Saugatuck, MI), servicing the voice health needs of their actors while in residence. Kelly is a long-time friend, ally, and activist in the LGBTQ+ community, and has been a headlining performer at the Dunes Resort (Douglas, MI) for 20 years and counting!
