David Alpert – BA, Theatre Studies (Directing), is an award-winning New York City-based director. On Broadway, he served as Associate Director on the Tony Award-winning "The Trip to Bountiful," on "If/Then," and on the revival of "Guys & Dolls." He is the founding Artistic Director of BroadwayCon, a frequent collaborator with Tony winner Idina Menzel, and Acting Faculty at NYU Steinhardt. He is currently directing "The Apple Boys," premiering Off-Broadway in spring 2027, and writing a new play, "The Darlings."
Darren Edward Johnston – BA, Theatre Studies, is Senior Vice President, Artistic, of No Guarantees Productions, the Tony Award-winning theatrical production company. He previously worked on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Shakespeare in the Park productions as a member of the Public Theater's producing staff under Artistic Director Oskar Eustis.
Justin Garascia – BFA, Acting, wrote, produced, and starred in "Mikey!," a queer coming-of-age gothic comedy about Michelangelo, in an initial workshop run at The Tank NYC that drew over 400 audience members across sold-out performances. He is now in producer outreach toward an Off-Broadway production.
Crystal Lucas-Perry – BFA, Acting, is a Tony Award-nominated Broadway actress, producer, educator, and licensed drama therapist. Her Broadway credits include originating the role of John Adams in the 2022 revival of "1776" and a Tony Award nomination for "Ain't No Mo'," alongside work at Lincoln Center Theater, The Public Theater, and Roundabout Theatre Company. She has also received the Dorian Award, the Lucille Lortel Award, and the 2025 Bezalel Award for Creativity in the Arts. Lucas-Perry holds an MFA in Acting from NYU Tisch and an MA in Drama Therapy from NYU Steinhardt, where she now serves as Adjunct Faculty and is completing her doctorate in Educational Theatre.
Connar Klock – BFA, Acting, serves as Artistic Director of Queer Theatre Kalamazoo, leading the company's artistic vision and programming. They also work as the Drop-In Center Facilitator at OutFront Kalamazoo, one of Michigan's largest LGBTQIA+ resource centers, and hold community leadership roles with Theatre Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Non-Profit Advocacy Coalition, and Ludington Area Pride.
Brooke Elliott – BFA, Music Theatre Performance, stars as Dana Sue Sullivan on Netflix's "Sweet Magnolias," now in its sixth season. She previously headlined Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" for six seasons and made her Broadway debut in "Taboo," produced by Rosie O'Donnell, followed by "The Pirate Queen."
Brian Martin – BFA, Music Theatre Performance, is currently serving as Associate Choreographer on the Off-Broadway musical "Heathers." He was part of the original Broadway companies of "Some Like It Hot" and "Mrs. Doubtfire," and recently toured as Pabbie in Disney's "Frozen."
Hannah Elless – BFA, Music Theatre Performance, is best known for originating the role of Margo Crawford in the Broadway production of "Bright Star," written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. She made her Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of "Godspell," appeared in Jack Thorne's "A Christmas Carol," and made her television debut on HBO's "The Deuce."
Victoria Blade – BFA, Acting, recurs in the Emmy Award-winning series "WandaVision" and Donald Glover's "Swarm," and appears in Apple TV+'s "Surfside Girls" and "The Chosen." She recently won the Slamdance Grand Jury Award for her short film "Vicky Wakes Up" and will next appear in the feature "One True Loves" alongside Simu Liu.
Amanda Cowper – BFA, Acting, spent over ten years as the sole Field Producer on NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and also produced "The Amber Ruffin Show" for Peacock. She won a 2025 Webby Award for Best Individual Episode – Film & Television for "10 Years of Late Night with Seth Meyers: A Brief Oral History," and her short films "Woman of a Certain Age" and "Driver Ed" both premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Scott Jacobs – BFA, Acting, attended the American Film Institute for Film Editing and now works as a film editor in Los Angeles. He spent five years at Marvel Studios, contributing to "WandaVision," "Thunderbolts*," and "Deadpool & Wolverine." Recent projects include "Peacemaker" Season 2 for DC and "You, Me, and Tuscany" for Universal.
Larry Herron – BFA, Acting, went on to earn his MFA in Acting at UC San Diego. He is a series regular voicing Dr. Barry on Max's "Young Love" and has appeared on screen in "Barry," "NCIS," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Shameless," and "Insecure." His voice work spans national brand campaigns (McDonald's, Toyota, SeatGeek), video games including "Spider-Man," "Spider-Man 2," and "Fallout 76," and more than 100 audiobooks, including a 2022 Audie Award nominee.
Marcus Shane – BFA, Music Theatre Performance, is currently performing in the Broadway production of "Aladdin," understudying the roles of Iago and Omar. His Broadway credits also include "Mamma Mia!," and he has toured nationally in "Mean Girls" (Assistant Dance Captain), "The King and I," and "Anything Goes."
Dexter J. Singleton – BFA, Acting, is Director of New Play Development and Senior Artistic Associate at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville, AR, and Artistic Director of Collective Consciousness Theatre in New Haven, CT. He freelance directs at theatres across the country.
Cory Blevins – BA, Theatre, grew up in Detroit and went on to earn his MFA in Acting at Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory. His television credits include the CBS revival of "Matlock," recurring roles on "Get Shorty" (EPIX) as Agent Buchholz and "Fresh Off the Boat" (ABC), and guest-starring appearances on "9-1-1: Lone Star," "S.W.A.T.," and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
Mike Daniels – BFA, Acting, is the creator of a reboot of "The Rockford Files" for NBC and Peacock, premiering in January.
Joe Drake – BFA, Acting, is a producer/director whose team at Cheddar News earned two 2026 New York Emmy nominations.
Page Kennedy – BFA, Acting, has expanded from acting into filmmaking, creating an original hip-hop-and-Shakespeare film project designed to introduce Shakespeare to new audiences.
D'Marreon Alexander – BFA, Music Theatre Performance, is currently touring nationally in "The Great Gatsby." He previsouly performed in the Nation Tour of "Beautiful, The Carole King Musical".
Karly Im – BFA, Acting, recently appeared on ABC's "The Rookie" and has landed a role in an upcoming Netflix original series.
Amy Persons – BFA, Acting, has worked as a professional actor in New York City for nearly 30 years, including the first national tour, Ogunquit regional premiere, and Asia tour of "Sister Act."
Tommy Sinshack – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, is the Lead Audio Technician for Cirque du Soleil's "Mad Apple" in Las Vegas, now in his fifth year with the company.
Carrie Mossman – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, earned her MFA in Scenic Design at Brandeis and worked as an assistant and associate props coordinator on more than 75 Broadway shows, including the original "Spring Awakening," "South Pacific," and "Kinky Boots." She now leads the props shop at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Joshua Reid – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, is a Tony Award-nominated sound designer (Best Sound Design of a Play, "A Christmas Carol," 2023) and winner of a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for excellence in sound design. His Broadway credits include Associate Sound Design for "Falsettos," "The Ferryman," and "American Psycho," alongside design work for Geffen Playhouse, Signature Theatre, Theatre Calgary, and Barrington Stage. Reid has returned to WMU as Adjunct Professor of Sound Design, teaching current students in the same program that launched his career.
Elizabeth Soglin – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, was a Props Artisan for her first Off-Broadway show, completed the Juilliard School's Professional Apprenticeship Program in Props, and toured as Head of Props with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. She now works as a freelance Props Designer and Artisan in New York City.
Christina Gould – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, spent four and a half years as an Assistant Set Decorator on "FBI" and is currently shopping for an upcoming Amazon Prime series.
Shana Albery – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, tailors for television and celebrity clients in Los Angeles and recently led the wardrobe workroom for the World Cup Final halftime show, seen by more than a billion viewers worldwide.
Jason Washburn – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, is a draftsperson for the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
Elizabeth Bourgeois – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, earned her MFA at NYU and is now tenured costume design faculty at the University of South Florida. Her costume designs appear in two films currently streaming on Amazon Prime, and she regularly designs for dance companies nationwide.
Angie McMahon – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology & BFA, Stage Management, is a theatre design consultant with Charcoalblue, designing theatres, assembly spaces, and their technical systems.
Jesse Cole – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, is Head Electrician at Miller Auditorium, working on shows ranging from two-piece bands to full-scale Broadway tours, and is a member of IATSE Local 26.
Justin Humphres – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, is a scenic and video designer whose Broadway associate credits include "Hell's Kitchen," "Bob Fosse's Dancin'," and "Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations." He now runs Justin Humphres Design, specializing in real-time virtual production and Unreal Engine environments for film, broadcast, and live events.
DJ Potts – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, is a Tony Award-winning sound designer whose Broadway credits include Associate Sound Design for "Pirates! The Penzance Musical" and "An Enemy of the People," Associate Lighting Design for "Topdog/Underdog," and Associate Sound Design for "Slave Play," "Jaja's African Hair Braiding," and "Fat Ham."
Nicholas Davidson – BFA, Theatre Design and Technology, led the lighting department at Thinkwell Group for seven years as Senior Lighting Designer, where his work included Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, winner of a Themed Entertainment Association Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement. He now runs his own practice, NWD Design Inc., and is a lighting designer and consultant for DIAVOLO: Architecture in Motion, whose LA Philharmonic-commissioned piece "Fluid Infinities" premiered at the Hollywood Bowl.
Joshua Lee (Joshua Davis) – BA, Acting, is Executive Director of the Illinois Arts Council under Gov. Pritzker, overseeing approximately $25 million in annual grants to artists and arts organizations statewide.
Samantha Rose Roetter (Berger) – BA, Arts Administration, is Manager of Website Content & Digital Experience at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, where she led the digital strategy for a sold-out Billy Corgan concert event and earned a Webby Award nomination for the Lyric's SoundShirt accessibility initiative.
Katy Coy – BA, Arts Administration, is Chief Executive Officer of the Jazz Arts Group of Columbus, home to the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Columbus Youth Jazz, and the JazZoo concert series. She previously served as Executive Director of the Valley Symphony Orchestra in McAllen, TX, and of the Association of Arts Administration Educators, and earned an MFA in Arts Leadership from DePaul University.
Dan Martin – BA, Theatre Production, served as the 12th Dean of Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts (2010–2021), overseeing its Schools of Architecture, Art, Design, Drama, and Music, and is now Professor Emeritus there. He founded CMU's Master of Arts Management Program and its Master of Entertainment Industry Management Program, and earned his MFA in Performing Arts Management at the City University of New York.
Matthew Sitz – BA, Theatre Studies, is Director of Audience Services and Group Sales at Court Theatre at the University of Chicago and a freelance hospitality consultant, drawing on more than two decades in arts management. His clients have included the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and he is a member of the International Association of Venue Managers.
AJ Howard – BA, Arts Administration, is Engagement Manager for Broadway in Chicago, overseeing show settlements and financial operations.
Christina Killmar – BA, Arts Administration, is the incoming Venue Manager for the historic Fisher Theatre in Detroit, following 22 years managing facilities, events, and programs at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts.
Amanda Najor – BA, Acting, manages events and programming at Rockefeller Center in New York City.
Tamsin Silver – BA, Arts Administration, is Production Coordinator for the New Mexico Shakespeare Festival and the published author of 12 books.
Noah Pigza – BA, Acting, works Front of House at The Public Theater in New York City.
Alex Tobin – BA, Arts Administration, is a New York City-based mix and sound engineer. He is currently A1/Mix Engineer for the Tony Award-winning sound design of "Death of a Salesman" on Broadway (Winter Garden Theatre), and has spent recent seasons as part of Lincoln Center Theater's sound department across multiple Off-Broadway productions, including "Ghosts," "The Blood Quilt," and "Gardens of Anuncia." His Broadway credits also include "Topdog/Underdog" (Tony Award, Best Revival) and "Fat Ham."
Tyler Siems – BA, Arts Administration, is Company Manager for the Broadway production of "Cats: The Jellicle Ball" and moves next to Jamie Lloyd's "Much Ado About Nothing," starring Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell, opening at the Winter Garden Theatre this fall. His recent Broadway credits also include Company Manager for "Waiting for Godot," "Smash," "Romeo and Juliet," "Illinoise," and "Kimberly Akimbo."
Allie DiSanto – BA, Arts Administration, is Marketing Manager for Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago. She previously spent three years as Marketing Coordinator for Mercury Theater Chicago after starting her Chicago career as an intern with the League of Chicago Theatres.
Lauren Cavanaugh – BFA, Stage Management, has moved from touring and Broadway stage management into production video work, contributing to "Maybe Happy Ending" and 15+ other Broadway shows. She is set to be sworn into IATSE Local 1.
Jessica Tibboles – BFA, Stage Management, earned her MFA from UMKC and works as a freelance stage manager in opera and ballet nationwide. She serves as a union delegate for AGMA, representing the Lyric Opera of Kansas City and Des Moines Metro Opera.
Taylor Matthews – BFA, Stage Management, is Company Stage Manager for The Naples Players in Florida, now in her fourth season training volunteers and students in stage management.
Trish Hausmann – BFA, Stage Management, is Production Manager for the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center at Indiana University, where she also teaches stage and entertainment management.
Jasmine Ermete – BFA, Stage Management, has stage managed across Chicago and Detroit, including as resident stage manager at Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, and is heading to Drama Studio London for an MFA in Professional Acting.
Becca Levy – BFA, Stage Management, is Education Manager at Writers Theatre in Chicago, partnering with Chicago Public Schools on arts-integrated curriculum.
Jackquelyn Hilliker – BFA, Stage Management, works as a stage manager, director, and designer for Foothills Theatre Company in the Denver area and serves as President of the Board of Directors for Menace Theatre Company.
