President's Performance Sponsorship Opportunities

The Western Michigan University Theatre Guild is a community support organization for WMU’s nationally recognized Department of Theatre.  The Guild raises funds to provide scholarships and professional development opportunities for the students

About the Event

Join us April 24th for the 2026 President's Performance!

The evening kicks off with a lively cocktail hour in the Williams Theatre featuring delectable hors d’oeuvres from some of Kalamazoo's favorite local restaurants. WMU's President Russ Kavalhuna will share special remarks to set the stage for an extraordinary evening.

Following the cocktail hour, guests will take in a performance in the Shaw Theatre of Sweeney Todd! After the curtain falls, guests will indulge in a post-show reception featuring musis and an array of local mouthwatering desserts back in the Williams Theatre. There will be an opportunity to mingle with the cast, designers, and crew!

Discover firsthand the incredible impact your support has on their education and future endeavors. Attendance not only guarantees a night of entertainment but also contributes to student scholarships and professional development opportunities. It will be an evening of laughter, connection, and making a difference!
