Brandon K Harris is a graduate of Aquinas College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music with Emphasis in Voice. He is currently a voice teacher and vocal coach with over 8 years of experience. Additionally, Brandon is a performer, choral scholar, and director in the greater Grand Rapids and West Michigan area. He was also on staff for years with the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp International Choral Ensemble. Brandon is classically trained and highly skilled in Bel Canto singing with professional experience in Art Songs, choral and solo repertoire, as well as extensive experience in Jazz, Musical Theatre, Pop, Gospel, R&B, Soul, and Spiritual singing. Working more than twenty years professionally, he has shared the stage with artists such as: Dr André Thomas, Duane S. Davis, Dr Stephen Zegree, Scott Bosscher, Jed Scott, Dr Steven Hankle, Shania Twain, Sarah Brightman, Bobby Mc Ferrin, Kenny Rogers, Janis Siegel of The Manhattan Transfer, Take 6, Lalah Hathaway, and The New York Voices. Brandon has performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer and Alice Tully Halls at Lincoln Center, and numerous countries abroad. Brandon is an alum of elite collegiate vocal jazz ensembles: Shades of Blue, Gold Company, and GC Sextet. Brandon is a longtime member of the Grand Rapids Choir of Men and Boys. He has been seen in many productions for Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, Circle Theatre of Grand Rapids, Actors’ Theatre, and Opera Grand Rapids. Brandon is a proud member of the world’s oldest and largest national fraternal society of music, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
