Ambitious is the best word to describe Savanna Everett’s career at Abbott. Four promotions in seven years doesn’t happen without making some serious moves, which is how Everett gained experience in account management, business analytics, category management and sales after being the first to graduate from Abbott’s retail development program. It’s no surprise that early on in her employment Everett’s efforts were recognized with the Rookie of the Year Award in 2018.

Her best work happens when she can take stock of a project and produce efficiencies. As a category advisor, she built and proofed numerous planograms, the diagrams for placement of retail products, to ensure timely execution on store shelves. Senior leadership has been impressed by her savvy to drive market share and sales for products.

Everett is a collaborator when it comes to office culture—championing two committees that focus on team bonding, volunteering and professional growth among employees. She also volunteers her time with Abbott’s Future Well Kids initiative, a program that aims to inspire kids to create healthy habits.
