Magnetic Marketer

Marketing Manager, Springfield Inc.
Founder, Michigan Mac Marketing

McKenzie Weeks makes hitting the mark in marketing look effortless. However, behind all her success are marketing strategies that require diligence and discipline. The 2016 WMU Haworth grad has served in a variety of marketing roles in small and large organizations in Northern Michigan, including Village Press, Munson Healthcare, Maxbauer Market and ATLAS Space Operations.

In 2022, Weeks started her own marketing consulting company, Michigan Mac Marketing. Through her firm, Weeks develops and executes marketing strategies to grow businesses. In fact, she’s now the marketing manager at Springfield Inc., a former Michigan Mac client that is now her employer after a job well done as their consultant.

During her career, Weeks established a marketing department, fundraised over $500,000 during the COVID-19 pandemic, opened a second retail location for a local butcher in Traverse City, and wrote a compelling nomination to land an organization as a finalist for Via Satellite’s Satellite Technology of the Year alongside companies like Apple and Maxar.

In 2023, she was recognized as one of Traverse City Business News 40 Under 40.

Hobbies:

“After taking a hiatus from reading after all those college textbooks, I picked up reading again. Last year, I read over 50 books. I love the smell of a used bookstore and the warm welcome of my local library. I recently took up baking sourdough bread, and it always smells delicious at my homestead on Sunday mornings. I also really enjoy my evenings of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy—it's nostalgic for me.”
