Jeff Williams has spent his entire 33-year career with Johnson Controls in multiple leadership positions, including leading large businesses for the company. He has served two international assignments in Brazil and Germany and has extensive global experience managing operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Recently, Williams led the successful spin-off of Johnson Controls’ $16 billion automotive business that operates in more than 35 countries with 200 manufacturing plants and 75,000 employees, culminating in the creation of Adient, which is listed on the NYSE.

Williams is currently president in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America for Johnson Controls’ building, technologies and solutions division, with overall profit and loss responsibility for the regions. In addition, Williams leads Johnson Controls’ manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, supply chain, environmental, and health and safety functions for the enterprise. He is also a corporate officer of the Fortune 100 Company and has served in this capacity since 2015.

Graduating from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial marketing, Williams went on to earn his MBA from the University of Detroit. He is married to Andrea, his wife of 32 years, and they have two children, Brandon and Makenzie. A sports enthusiast, Williams is an avid golfer, a Detroit fan and loves to travel.
