Bio:

Sue Brodasky joined Western Michigan University in 2002 as an Office Assistant in the Department of Occupational Therapy. In 2004, she accepted the position of Program Coordinator in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness within the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. She later served as Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer in the Office of Information Technology from 2007 to 2015. Since 2015, Sue has served as the Faculty Senate Administrator. Prior to joining Western Michigan University, she spent 10 years with the Kalamazoo County Chamber of Commerce.

As Faculty Senate Administrator, Sue serves as the primary advisor and administrative liaison to the Faculty Senate President and the Faculty Senate Executive Board. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the Faculty Senate Office, ensuring the successful achievement of strategic and operational objectives. Her responsibilities include researching and developing academic policies and governance procedures, coordinating University-wide initiatives on behalf of the Faculty Senate, and representing the Senate Office on institutional committees. Sue also manages all administrative operations for the Faculty Senate, including planning and coordinating the monthly meetings of approximately 90 elected faculty senators representing academic departments across the University.
