The Logistical Services Department is a unit of the Office of Business and Finance of Western Michigan University. Logistical Services is comprised of Purchasing, Surplus, Maintenance Stores, Mail, Receiving and Distribution.

The Logistical Services Department is proud to support Western Michigan University through the services we provide to the community.

Please note, due to the budget impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Logistical Services has had to make changes to the mail, freight and delivery services.  Changes are outlines on each unit web page and in this announcement.  Please contact us with any questions.

Logistical Services operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  At this time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Purchasing Department and Maintenance Stores physical offices at Campus Services (not including the warehouse) are closed to walk in traffic and will be open by appointment only.  Staff continue to work both on-site and remotely, during business hours, and are available to support your needs.  The mail center, receiving dock and Maintenance Stores facilities are all open.

The office is closed on all University holidays.
