Bulk Mail
Bulk mailings are those with 200 or more identical pieces that are to be sent at the Western Michigan University standard (nonprofit) rates. These mailings must be accompanied by United States Postal Service documentation certifying that the mailing conforms to regulations. Such mailings may require addressing, folding, inserting or other processing by off campus vendors.
Departments should coordinate their high-volume first class and standard bulk (nonprofit) mail through mail services (269) 387-8812 to take advantage of pre-sort services:
- Addressing (cleaning up your mailing list using National Change of Address)
- Inserting
- Tabbing
- Folding
- Sorting
