Scheduling

Western Michigan University freight delivery is normally based on a first come—first serve basis, however flexibility for delivery of high priority packages will be observed. Unfortunately we have limited warehouse space therefore delivered freight cannot be stored more than five business days. If you are expecting a freight delivery, please contact scheduling at (269) 387-8811 in advance to make delivery arrangements.

Addressing packages

When ordering an item, request that the company clearly address the outside of the package in one of the following manners:

Please note: If the package is on a purchase order and is delivered to the campus address please be sure to call (269) 387-8819 to let us know what was received so the item can be checked in and the invoices paid in a timely manner.

Undeliverable packages

Sometimes there is not enough information on the package to determine a deliverable address and the package will need to be researched. If no address can be determined, the package will be declared undeliverable. Undeliverable packages will be returned to the vendor within five working days.
