What you’ll learn

The sales and business marketing curriculum covers core business fundamentals alongside specialized coursework in selling, sales management, negotiation, business development and customer relationship management. You’ll develop practical skills through hands-on training in the Robert S. Kaiser Sales, Negotiation and Leadership Lab, where role-play scenarios and real-world simulations prepare you for the dynamics of professional sales. 

The program's focus on relationship-based selling and strategic business marketing gives WMU graduates the tools to succeed across industries, from consumer goods and pharmaceuticals to technology and manufacturing. Sales competitions throughout the year add another layer of experiential preparation, giving you the chance to apply what you've learned in sales scenarios, competing against peers from programs nationwide.
