Stephen Cahill is constantly taking innovation and discovery to the next level. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, he knew an MBA would be the perfect complement to his scientific credentials. Since WMU has a reputation for being a world-class research institution with a prestigious business school, it was an easy choice. This, combined with an eight-year career at Amway (one of the most recognized health and beauty companies in the world), set Cahill on the path to becoming a highly accomplished research scientist.

Cahill’s exemplary work in quality assurance and project management led to an opportunity to serve as a research fellow for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He conducted CBD research for the Center of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition and upon completion of his fellowship accepted a position at the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Cahill now dedicates his time to supporting the FDA’s mission of protecting public health.
