Melissa Centofanti is a strategic leader with over 23 years of experience in the medical device industry. As the senior director and IT business partner for Stryker’s Instruments division, she is responsible for driving IT value creation, enhancing customer satisfaction and cultivating strong partnerships with division leadership. Her extensive background includes leading significant technology initiatives and developing integrated strategic roadmaps that align with organizational goals.

Prior to her current role, Centofanti spent 22 years at Stryker’s Medical division, where she held positions in operations and the commercial business, including director of process and technology. In this capacity, she led a major ERP transformation. Additionally, in partnership with IT, she played a critical role in developing a strategy and securing funds for CRM implementations and established governance structures. Her leadership in developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps has significantly improved customer service capabilities across multiple divisions. 

Centofanti holds an M.S. in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
