As a senior search optimization specialist at Digital Surfer, an Australian-based digital marketing agency, Chilton works with the agency’s high-profile clients to identify opportunities for business growth through organic and paid-search marketing.
His work has been recognized externally with Chilton being the key strategist in some of Digital Surfer’s most prestigious awards. His stellar work has won several awards, including the Best Local SEO Campaign for Plus One Vet and Best SEO Campaign for Main Lawyers at the APAC Search Awards 2024.
He was also a finalist for the Semrush Search Awards Young Search Professional of the Year Award and a finalist for APAC Search’s Rising Star Award, both of which recognize exceptional dedication and achievements in the search marketing industry for professionals under the age of 30.
When he’s not uncovering key digital insights, Chilton is creating connections IRL. He’s the mastermind behind Digital Surfer’s internal program called Education, Enjoy Lunch, Activities and Team Building (EEAT) Fridays, a monthly training that fosters team relationships and professional growth.
Chilton also runs his own personal consulting business, RC Digital. The company’s vision is to grow the online presence of businesses through web design, digital marketing and SEO.
Chilton never stops learning. Over the past year, his focus has been on building his personal brand and leadership capabilities. He has attended multiple digital marketing conferences, become a marketing industry expert for Queensland Leaders and guest lectured at Northeastern University. His personal search is always for the next growth opportunity.
