Shaquanda Gordon is responsible for the strategic planning and senior leadership of North American human resources for Gordon Food Service, a multibillion-dollar, privately held, and family-managed food distribution company. In this role, she oversees home office employees, human resource compliance, recruiting, and the company’s diversity and inclusion program.
 
Gordon joined Gordon Food Service after serving as senior director for human resources at Perrigo Company. She previously held human resources leadership roles at Priority Health and Meijer. She served as an adjunct instructor at Davenport University for more than 10 years.
 
In addition to her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, Gordon also received a master’s degree from Davenport University. Gordon is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, having formerly served as president. In 2011, she received the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce Athena Young Professional Award, which recognized her leadership in her field and the time and talent she invests in the community.
