Auspicious Analyst

Associate Client Director, NielsenIQ

While her career started with a sales representative position at the Hershey Company, Taylor Hennessey’s professional life sweetened as a data analyst with NielsenIQ (NIQ), where she has spent most of her career. Over the last seven years with NIQ, Hennessey has cultivated a distinct expertise in crafting compelling narratives from complex data sets. She’s a force for change through system and best-in-class reporting implementation across multiple food retailers. Her favorite part of her career has been teaching peers and clients how to extract actionable insights from NIQ’s data sets.

Hennessey’s fulfillment lies in fostering success in those around her. Watching peers and associates connect the dots in their learning and growth journey brings a strong sense of purpose to the work she does. In conjunction with leading others to succeed at NIQ, Hennessey had the privilege of supporting WMU students for the past six years as a guest lecturer for Dr. Ann Veeck’s Food Marketing Analytics class. Here, she offered insights into the use of syndicated data in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, illustrating real-world examples of data application and interpretation.
