Asia-Pacific Partnerships and Coordination Lead, Impact Hub Network

Unwavering in her commitment to advancing environmental and social justice, MacKenzie King is driving forward inclusive business support and social innovation. She is currently the Asia-Pacific partnerships and coordination lead for Impact Hub Network, a global community that supports entrepreneurship for a just and sustainable world. In this role, she focuses on developing regional programs with an emphasis on inclusion and climate action. Notably, she played a key role in establishing a partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), working on inclusive entrepreneurship support for women with disabilities in Nepal, Bangladesh and Cambodia.

Beyond her primary role, King volunteers with the Thailand Clean Air Network and contributes to the Thailand task force for the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment. She also lends her expertise as a strategic advisor to OurLand Thailand, a conservation and environmental education social enterprise, and WE-Can, a national initiative supporting women in entrepreneurship. In her downtime, King enjoys rock climbing, reading and being surrounded by her dozens of houseplants.

Funniest Work Experience:

“When I was working for a conservation social enterprise in Thailand called OurLand, we were called to handle a snake rescue—there were two king cobras underneath a meditation center bathroom. I ended up standing in a big pit, with my hands inside a busted-down wall, on the tail of the bigger of the two king cobras. Luckily, we got the snakes out safely and back into the national park, but it was the definitely the most nerve-wracking experience of my life. The meditation center gave us the tastiest mangoes as payment for the service. Worth it!”
