Chief Executive Officer, Ralph Moyle

Representing the third generation of Ralph Moyle, a family-owned transportation and warehousing company, Ashley Kordish’s love for the business started at a young age, when her dad would take her to work.

Working in a variety of roles in the company as she earned her associate’s degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, she served first as a forklift driver in the warehouse, eventually going on to spend time in billing, dispatch and the shop.

During college, she decided to gain experience outside the family business with a quality assurance internship at American Axle, working on new Chrysler lines. She moved over to the materials department as an intern and then accepted a full-time role for one of the Chrysler lines after graduation.

In 2015, Kordish returned to Ralph Moyle as operations manager where she oversaw the transportation operations division, maintenance department and workplace safety for several years before being promoted to vice president of operations. During that time, she earned a Master of Science in Management, Strategy and Leadership from Michigan State University before stepping into the role of CEO. Kordish is passionate about the industry—and its people—with a keen interest in educating women about the opportunities in the field of transportation.
