Spencer Robertson is a distinguished professional with a strong foundation in accounting and a commitment to community service. As a Certified Public Accountant in Michigan, he currently works as a tax senior at Plante Moran.
Robertson’s dedication to the accounting field began during his days at WMU Haworth where he played a pivotal role in chartering WMU’s chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), a registered student organization that continues to thrive on campus. This achievement underscores his dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the accounting profession.
With a passion to give back to his alma mater, Robertson serves as treasurer of the Diehard Foundation, whose mission is to support WMU students through mentorship and scholarships. In addition to his philanthropic efforts, he’s employing his accounting expertise as the founder of Affordable Knowledge, a community that provides aspiring CPAs and business owners the knowledge and expertise to unlock their full potential.

“New York City. My maternal grandfather was born and raised in Harlem. I love the history that’s associated with the city, and I take an annual trip to continue exploring new places and attractions.”
