Adept Analyzer

Special Projects Senior Analyst, DaVita Labs

Henry Thiry is using his management and leadership skills to bridge clinical operations and business operations at DaVita Labs. As a special projects senior analyst, he works closely with clinical laboratory department managers to effectively propose, plan and execute projects varying in scale and scope.

Although the projects he works on are behind the scenes, the 200,000 patients the lab serves can depend on him to provide thoughtful guidance and implementation of processes that make the patient experience better.

Thiry is currently managing a project to transition one of the lab’s high-volume tests to a new testing platform, which will provide continuity of care for patients. In addition, he has been instrumental in implementing a new process of submitting, reviewing and prioritizing projects which has led to an enormous shift in focus and understanding of lab operations.

Thiry’s ability to nurture thoughtful partnerships with various laboratory teams and leaders has contributed to his successful leadership of complex projects that are key to the advancement of the lab.

He stays active in the community by serving on the board of directors for the Volusia Community Arts and as the umpire-in-chief for the DeLand Little League. These volunteer positions allow him to blend his natural passion for the arts, baseball and softball with his aptitude for analysis.

Hobbies:

“Playing the trumpet, umpiring baseball, softball, swimming, hiking and biking.”
