Shawn Tenney

Shawn joined WMU in 2011 as the director of service-learning. She has two main focuses, including development of a campus-wide culture of service and social justice, and she serves as the liaison among faculty teaching service-learning courses, community partners, and students. In this role, Shawn helps develop programming, community-based projects, and partnerships among multiple stakeholders. In addition, Shawn conducts regular program assessment and evaluation. Shawn's passion is social justice and almost all animals.
