On behalf of the School of Communication, I am pleased to announce a special Giving Day challenge to support the School’s Communication and International Engagement Fund to support communication majors to participate in study abroad programs.
A previous donation from a School benefactor helped us provide scholarships that assisted 35 communication students to study abroad in our communication programs in London, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. These experiences have been life changing for our students. Check out the School of Communication Facebook page for photos and comments.
This original fund is now significantly reduced. To continue this scholarship support for our students, an anonymous donor has pledged a match gift of up to $5,000 for every dollar donated to the Communication and International Engagement Fund… dollar for dollar up to $5000 on Giving Day.
Your gift in any amount to the Communication and International Engagement Fund means double the impact for your gift and for the lives of our communication students.
WMU Giving Day begins at midnight on October 9 and ends at 11:59 p.m. that same day. The Communication and International Engagement Fund Challenge is open during that time.
