She graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Creative Technologies in Music and recently graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master of Music in Composition. Her work, while spanning a variety of genres, styles, and instrumentation, typically has an emphasis on voice, glitch, and the uncanny feeling that arises from the combination of natural and artificial elements. She specializes in electronic music and technology and views her work as both intrinsic fulfillment and creative research.

Flynn’s work has been performed and presented both nationally and internationally at conferences such as MOXSonic, Electronic Music Midwest, the International Computer Music Conference, New York City Electronic Music Festival, SPLICE Fest, and the Society of Composers Inc. Student National Conference, among others. She also regularly releases music on all streaming platforms, including two EPs: The Time of Our Lives and Take Me Home. Caroline is passionate about bridging gaps between academic and pop music, regularly performing pop music at academic conferences and integrating academic research into her pop music.
