Paul Schaedig

Paul Schaedig is the Audio Technology Coordinator and a part-time instructor in Western Michigan University's Irving S. Gilmore School of Music. He serves as head engineer for Western Sound Studio, oversees the school's audio production labs, and teaches courses in audio production, with interests in recording, music production, post-production, and immersive audio.

 

A graduate of WMU's Multimedia Arts Technology program, Schaedig has remained active as an audio engineer, working with a diverse range of artists and clients. His work spans music recording and production, live sound, and audio for film and visual media. He is also the co-founder of Texture House, a video production company and continues to write, perform, and release music with his band, Basic Comfort, as well as other collaborative and solo projects.
