The School of Music Concerts Office is hiring several people for the position of

Video Streaming Engineer

 

 

Applicants with cooperative schedules for the following will be competitive:
  • Be available to work concert events at least three weekday evenings
  • Be available to work concert events on weekends

 

 
Applicants with one or more of these circumstances will be competitive:
  • Have completed MUS 1950 - Digital Video Concepts
  • Videography experience
  • Live sound reinforcement or audio engineering experience
  • Event production experience
  • Lighting operation experience
  • Video editing experience
  • The ability to read sheet music and follow a score

 

Responsibilities of the position include:
  • Manage video streaming equipment in the Recital Hall catwalk during live performances
  • Coordinate with event stage staff for lighting
  • Receive and manage audio feeds from multiple locations
  • Control and change camera positions/angles during event 
  • Begin and end the stream 
  • Manage beginning and end title cards and slides during event

 

Important dates:
  • Applications will be accepted until Friday, Jan. 8 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Recommendations will be solicited immediately. 
  • Interviews will be held before January 22.
  • Work assignments will begin February 1 (or earlier if available).
