WHAT'S NEW IN POLITICAL SCIENCE?
MIPSA at WMU and Taiwan Relations Act at 40
The Department of Political Science hosted two conferences this year. The annual Michigan Political Science Association in October held at the WMU Fetzer Center welcomed political science scholars and enthusiasts to discuss their research and the current political climate. Through a grant earned by Dr. YK Wang, political science professor, the department hosted the Taiwan Relations Act at 40: Democracy in a Changing World bringing international recognition and scholars to Kalamazoo. Dr. Wang will also arrange for other universities to host lectures on Taiwan as part of the grant.
