Register for CTD Assessments

 Online registration for CTD Assessments is easy. Go to: https://my.ctd.northwestern.edu. Follow these steps:

1. If this is your first time to register a student, click on "Sign Up" to create your account. Otherwise, "Log In" to your Toolbox account.
2. If necessary, add your student to your account by using the "Add Student" button. It asks you to create an account for the student with a student email address. We recommend creating a free email address (possibly a Gmail address) if your student does not have a non-school email.
3. Select the “Courses” tab at the top of the page
4. Scroll down to select “Assessments” under the Subject Area column
5. Type "ATYP" into the Search Courses box
6. Click on the + in the top corner of the box to expand the description for the test date you prefer.
7. Select “Apply Now”
8. Select the student's name from the family list
9. Click "Next"
10. Review the information and click "Next" if it is correct 
11. Confirm your choice by selecting the checkbox and click "Next"
12. Update your student's information (if necessary) and click "Next"
13. Click "Next" to bypass a transcript selection (assessments do not have transcripts)
14. Read the Terms and Conditions and
    1. add your signature
    2. click the "I agree" boxes as you agree
    3. click "Next"
15. Select "Pay for one or more applications"
16. Click "Next"
17. Select the button next to your student's enrollment
18. In the drop down menu, “Do you want to apply for need-based Financial Aid?"--select NO (contact the ATYP office at @email for a coupon code if you qualify for financial aid. You will still need to select "NO" here.)
19. Select "yes" or "no" for a donation
20. Click "Next" twice
21. If you received a coupon code from the office, type it into the "Coupon Code" box
22. Click "Next"
23. Enter your credit card information
24. Click "Submit." If you do not complete this final step, your registration will not be complete.
