Register for CTD Assessments
Online registration for CTD Assessments is easy. Go to: https://my.ctd.northwestern.edu. Follow these steps:
- If this is your first time to register a student, click on "Sign Up" to create your account. Otherwise, "Log In" to your Toolbox account.
- If necessary, add your student to your account by using the "Add Student" button. It asks you to create an account for the student with a student email address. We recommend creating a free email address (possibly a google address) if your student does not have a non-school email.
- Select the “Courses” tab at the top of the page
- Scroll down to select “Assessments” under the Subject Area column
- Type "ATYP" into the Search Courses box
- Click on the + in the top corner of the box to expand the description for the test date you prefer.
- Select “Apply Now”
- Select the student name from the family list
- Click "Next"
- Review the information and click "Next" if it is correct.
- Update your student's information (if necessary) and click "Next"
- Click "Next" to bypass a transcript selection (assessments do not have transcripts)
- Click "Next" after answering the question about alumni status.
- Answer the question about where your heard about CTD and why you applied. Click "Next"
- Read the Terms and Conditions and
- add your signature
- click the "I agree" boxes as you agree
- click "Next"
- Select "Pay for one or more applications"
- Click "Next"
- Select "New Course Payment"
- Click "Next"
- Select the Assessment you are paying for
- In the drop down menu, “Do you want to apply for need-based Financial Aid?"--select NO (contact the ATYP office at @email for a coupon code if you qualify for financial aid. You will still need to select "NO" here.)
- Select "yes" or "no" for a donation
- Click "Next"
- If you received a coupon code from the office, type it into the "Coupon Code" box
- Click "Next"
- Enter your credit card information
- Click "Submit." If you do not complete this final step, your registration will not be complete.
