WMU Michigan GEAR UP is hosting two tours for the summer of 2025.
- College Tour 1: June 23 - 26, 2025 in Atlanta, GA.
- College Tour 2: July 28 - 31, 2025 in Philadelphia, PA.
- All costs, meals, housing, and group development activities are provided by the program.
- Students in the 11th grade at GEAR UP schools: Benton Harbor, Fennville, Hartford and Kalamazoo Central High Schools are eligible to apply.
- Applicants and their legal parents/guardians must complete a summer tour application and an interview to be considered.
- Students can only attend one trip each to maximize the number of students that get to experience our college tours.
- Completion of the application does not guarantee a spot on either college tour. All applications will be reviewed and considered.
- There is a limited number of spots per each of the 4 GEAR UP high schools. If not enough students apply from any one school, more spots will open at a later date to the other GEAR UP schools to fill all spots.
- Applications are available at the counselor's office at each high school.
