KCP Initiative college Day ProgramThe KCP College Day (CD) Program in Michigan's 15 public universities provides 6th - 12th grade economically-disadvantaged students in the state with support services to increase opportunities to succeed in higher education at post-secondary institutions. The CD Program mission is to provide an opportunity for students to discover, first-hand, the potential of a college education and to expose students to the information, knowledge, and skills they need to prepare themselves adequately for college entry and success. The program is funded by the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) and Western Michigan University.
