    The Department of Spanish offers student-centered advanced degrees enabling students to deepen and extend their knowledge of literatures, cultures and linguistics in the Hispanic world.

    The WMU Department of Spanish awards prizes for academic excellence and scholarships for study abroad at its annual Honors and Awards ceremony. The next ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Apr. 17 at noon in Bernhard 208-210.

  • Graduate degrees in Spanish and Hispanic Studies

    The WMU Department of Spanish offers a PhD in Spanish, an MA in Hispanic Studies, and an Accelerated MA program for Spanish majors as well. Most graduate studies receive graduate assistantships that provide teaching experience.
